Prince William just wrapped up a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia, and he's bringing home something special for Princess Charlotte. A year later, they could attend sporting events. Now girls across the country can play soccer in recreational leagues.

William told the young players his family "would love it here." He asked them if they'd show his kids how to play football properly. Then he joked: "I can see you guys will be at the World Cup very soon and then you're going to make me feel very old."
Charlotte Already Has Her Eye on the Lionesses
Speaking about George, Charlotte, and Louis, William said: "My children love football, but you guys are on another level." That's high praise coming from the president of the UK's Football Association.
William has always encouraged Charlotte's football interest just as much as his sons'. When he met the Lionesses in 2022, he told England's women's team that Charlotte was a future shoo-in. He even passed along a message from her: "Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she's really good in goal."
