Despite what half the internet insists, Florian Wirtz is not married. He's in a relationship with Aaliyah Cloßen Mohamed — a model and social media influencer based in Germany — and the two have been together since 2022.
The confusion is understandable. Wirtz is one of the most-searched footballers heading into the World Cup, and search engines have a habit of promoting whatever gets clicks, accuracy optional. The record: girlfriend, not wife.
Who is Aaliyah Cloßen Mohamed?
Aaliyah is a model and content creator with a following built largely on TikTok, where she posts fashion content, lifestyle clips, and GRWM videos. She's also collaborated with Cologne-based photographer Jonas Herrlein. She keeps her personal life relatively private — which, given the scrutiny that comes with dating a player of Wirtz's profile, is a reasonable call.
The pair went public in the most low-key way possible: being spotted together at Bayer Leverkusen's Bundesliga title celebrations in 2024. No announcement, no photoshoot. Just two people at a party that happened to be watched by a lot of cameras.
Wirtz has shown similar restraint throughout his career. Even as he moved from Leverkusen to Liverpool and reportedly became one of the club's top earners, his private life has stayed largely off the back pages.
