FIFA World Cup 2026 in Atlanta: Tickets, Schedule, Groups and Prices.

Atlanta is getting eight World Cup matches in 2026, and tickets are already on the secondary market — starting at $575 for the opening group stage game on June 15 and climbing to $2,180 just to get through the door for the semifinal.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which holds just over 73,000, is the venue. It's hosted Super Bowls and college football championships. A World Cup semifinal would be the loudest thing those walls have ever held — and Atlanta's fanbase, forged through years of supporting one of MLS's most electric atmospheres with Atlanta United, is well-equipped to deliver.

How to get tickets

The official route is through FIFA directly. You'll need a FIFA ID to register, and FIFA runs periodic ticket draws ahead of the tournament. Those draws aren't guaranteed, and availability is unpredictable.

The faster option is StubHub, where tickets are listed now for every Atlanta match. You can filter by date and seat category. Prices are above face value — that's the nature of the secondary market — and FIFA authentication isn't guaranteed. But if you want certainty that you're going, this is the more reliable path.

  • Group stage (June 15): from $575
  • Round of 32: from $765
  • Round of 16: from $1,000
  • Semifinal: from $2,180

The groups are set — and there's plenty of box office appeal

Teams have been drawn into 12 groups of four. The USA land in Group D alongside Paraguay, Australia, and Turkey — manageable on paper, though international tournaments have a way of humbling comfortable-looking draws. Argentina are in Group J with Algeria, Austria, and Japan. Brazil face Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland in Group C.

England, Spain, France, Germany, Portugal, and the Netherlands are all in the field. Whether any of them end up playing in Atlanta depends on how the knockout bracket shakes out — but the semifinal slot means the city is guaranteed to host at least one match featuring whoever makes a deep run.

For anyone weighing whether to buy now or wait for the bracket to clarify, the price trend is pointing one direction. The $2,180 semifinal floor in fall 2025 won't look cheap by the time the knockout rounds arrive.
