Let's be honest - Pep Guardiola is a football genius. He's achieved greatness twice, first with Barcelona and then with Manchester City. But right now, he's facing the biggest crisis of his managerial career.

And it all came to a head in north London last weekend. City were cruising 2-0 up against Tottenham before halftime. The game looked done and dusted. Then everything fell apart.

In just 45 minutes, Guardiola watched his side completely capitulate against a team sitting 14th in the table. They threw away a two-goal lead like it was nothing. That's not supposed to happen to Pep's teams.

The Cracks Are Turning Into Open Wounds

Here's the scary part for City fans - this isn't a one-off. The problems that started showing up last season are getting worse, not better. Guardiola has spent millions trying to fix things, but the money isn't working like it used to.

The stats don't lie. City have won just one of their last six Premier League games. They needed a favour from Jose Mourinho's Benfica just to scrape into the Champions League top eight. This is Manchester City we're talking about - the team that used to dominate everyone.

Erling Haaland has scored only twice in his last 11 appearances across all competitions. He looks frustrated and disconnected. Meanwhile, Ballon d'Or winner Rodri seems determined to collect red cards. He managed to get sent off against European minnows Bodo/Glimt - a game City somehow lost.

The Fear Factor Has Gone

Remember when opponents were beaten before kickoff just because they were facing City? That psychological advantage has completely disappeared. Teams now believe they can beat Guardiola's side, and they're proving it on the pitch.

The perfection and control that defined Pep's teams has vanished. City no longer dominate games the way they used to. For bettors, this changes everything - backing City away from home or even at neutral venues has become genuinely risky business.

Guardiola has revolutionized football with his tactics and intelligence. But even the greatest minds can go stale. He's been at City for nearly a decade now, and maybe that's the problem.

Perhaps it's time for Pep to take a break, recharge his batteries, and come back somewhere fresh. Because right now, the GOAT is starting to look more like a donkey. And that's something nobody expected to say about Pep Guardiola.
