Lamine Yamal has won the Kopa Trophy for the third year in a row, picking up the award for the world's best young player at the Ballon d'Or 2026 ceremony held at the Palladium Theatre in London on Monday.
The Spain and Barcelona winger's latest win completes a hat-trick of Kopa Trophy titles, according to the report.
This year's ceremony was staged in London rather than its usual Paris venue, with the move reported to be in honour of Sir Stanley Matthews. The shortlist for the award had included ten under-21 nominees alongside Yamal, among them Pau Cubarsí, Lennart Karl and Warren Zaïre-Emery, with the winner determined by a panel of 32 former Ballon d'Or winners.
